I am a qualified Chartered Management Accountant with 15 years’ experience working in house with a variety of clients and sectors. I speciallise in working with companies experiencing or wanting change including rapid growth, start ups and those that are in decline. I have been working as a Freelance Accountant with a small number of SME’s to help them achieve their goals for the last 7 years, and am always looking for a new challenge.
If your company going through change, growth, decline or a new project you will succeed in reaching your goals if you have a senior finance role overseeing this important time for your business. However, it is not always the right time for you to be hiring a permanent member of staff. This is why I left the employed world and started up my own business so I can help businesses like yours.
My experience has seen me successfully implement new and improve processes, including some off the shelf products and some in-house built systems. I have worked with companies to achieve Medium sized status, and assisted in training and recruitment of a new team to see them into their future, while still keeping in touch and assisting on an ad hoc basis. I have built accounting processes from scratch for new businesses. I regularly create monthly/ ad hoc board packs within a variety of sectors. I have worked with some clients to successfully gain investments and regularly provide steakholders with financial information to meet the businesses set requirements.
I charge per hour so am flexible to meet your company’s needs. My hourly rate is the equivalent of the hourly rate you would need to pay a senior/ semi-senior employee, but you will only need to pay for the hours you require. I can work from just a few hours per annum to quarterly or regular weekly work.
